I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual therapy for adults and adolescents, including family therapy with adolescents. I maintain a private practice in Prior Lake, Minnesota.
With 22 years experience in the human service field, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a diverse group of people with varying concerns. Among my areas of expertise are E.M.D.R. and A.R.T. for trauma. I recently completed Phase 1 in BSP (Brainspotting) and will continue to learn and grow as a Brainspotting therapist. I have a passion for helping individual adults and adolescents heal from their traumas, and have worked in adolescent residential and day treatment settings.
I am an eclectic therapist, meaning that I use many techniques from different therapeutic backgrounds, particularly Rogerian, Adlerian and Trauma-informed. My therapeutic style is to provide support and practical feedback in a caring and compassionate manner to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Since all humans encounter struggles, I believe that asking for help is a strength.
